| Every inch the showman, this incredibly tough charismatic little dog proved his soundness of mind, body & movement by returning to the ring after an 18 mos layoff due to a traumatic injury, competing against dogs half his age, and completing his title with very limited showing. Chubby earned all of his points, owner/handled, and within W OR & SW WA A lovely head and expressive face, very strong 100% correct front & rear, and absolutely flawless movement - whether viewed coming & going or from the side - are only a few of this boy's attributes. As a sire, with only 3 litters on the ground, he has proven himself extremely prepotent - stamping his kids with his lovely rear, short back, rock-solid topline, tightly curled tail, and dynamic "working dog" movement. |
| FLASH!! After a year in retirement, and at 51/2 years of age, Chubby returned to the ring on August 3rd, to be awarded OS in very nice competition - only the 2nd time in the ring for his novice handler dad!! Thanks to judge Bettie Krause for recognizing our boy's quality, despite his handler's obvious inexperience! |
